Digital Signal Processing Engineer (DSP) Internship

Nirvesh Enterprises Private Limited, an emerging neurotechnology startup, is building next-generation brain-sensing solutions that take neuroscience beyond the lab and into real-world applications. We are looking for a Digital Signal Processing Engineer with strong EEG and/or fNIRS experience to join our core team.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and optimize DSP algorithms for EEG and fNIRS signals (filtering, artifact removal, feature extraction, sensor fusion).
• Build real-time signal-processing pipelines for wearable or mobile neurotech systems.
• Analyze neural and physiological datasets to prototype cognitive/affective state models.
• Implement ML/statistical models for prediction or classification.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and neuroscience teams.
• Rapidly prototype in Python/MATLAB (bonus: C/C++).
• Support experiments, data collection, and validation.

Requirements

What We're Looking ForHands-on EEG and/or fNIRS processing experience.

Strong DSP fundamentals (ICA/CCA, filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets, etc.).

Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.

Experience with ML for time-series/physiological signals.

Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving startup environments.

**Nice to Have:**Wearable neurotech experience,

• Embedded DSP, Cloud/mobile integration,
• BCI/neurofeedback background, or knowledge of medical device workflows.
