Software Test Engineer

We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar'24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants. The ideal candidate will develop test strategies, and test cases to ensure complete coverage of business and technical requirements. They will execute manual and automated test cases across web portals and mobile applications. API testing and reporting will be performed using tools like Postman and Rest Assured. Defect reporting and management will be done using JIRA, Open Project, or similar tracking tools. Well-structured test documentation and reporting for traceability will be maintained. Basic test automation will be implemented to improve efficiency and repeatability. Tools like Appium, UI Automator, TestNG, and Eclipse will be used for mobile and web automation testing. Test coverage will be analyzed to ensure comprehensive validation of business processes. Test data and environment setup will be managed for efficient testing execution. They will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery. Post-release monitoring will be coordinated to track system stability and user feedback. Timely reporting and analysis of test results will be provided to key stakeholders. Proper test infrastructure setup and maintenance will be ensured. Test effectiveness will be evaluated and improvements suggested. Test data creation, validation, and security will be handled.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual (major) and automation testing for web portals and mobile applications and a strong understanding of testing methodologies, API testing, defect tracking, and test automation, along with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
