AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate AI Engineer with 3+ years of experience building and deploying LLM-powered and agentic applications, particularly within AI or deep-tech companies. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI agents and LLM-based systems — from RAG pipelines to conversational and task-executing agents — collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft client-specific solutions and drive measurable impact. The ideal candidate has strong backend engineering fundamentals combined with hands-on experience applying LLMs and agent frameworks to solve real-world problems, and a strong desire to learn and innovate.

Key Responsibilities

Custom Solution Development:

• Design and implement custom AI agent / LLM-based applications to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into client systems.

AI Application Engineering:

• Build and deploy LLM-powered applications — including RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, and conversational/non-conversational agents — as scalable, production-grade services.
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks (evals) to measure and improve agent/LLM output quality, reliability, and accuracy.
• Optimize latency, cost, and performance of LLM-based systems for real-world, client-facing use cases.
• Stay current with and apply emerging agent frameworks, LLM tooling, and retrieval/orchestration techniques (e.g., RAG, tool-calling, multi-agent workflows).

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, data scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure clear communication of technical designs and progress with stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of LLM application development — RAG, prompt design, agent/tool orchestration — and how to deploy these reliably in production.
• Strong backend development skills with experience in Python, Java or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, basic algorithms and object-oriented and functional design principles.
• Experience in working with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying LLM-powered and agentic applications, particularly within AI or deep-tech companies.
• Good understanding of LLM application development — RAG, prompt design, agent/tool orchestration — and how to deploy these reliably in production.
• Strong backend development skills with experience in Python, Java or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, basic algorithms and object-oriented and functional design principles.
• Experience in working with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.
• Advanced certifications in AI/ML are a plus.
