Job Title:
Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Production (Fabrication)

Key Focus:

• Oversee production on single/multiple assembly lines.
• Meet production targets with the desired quality and within the defined timeframe.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure smooth production processes and timely dispatch to achieve targets.
• Arrange and deploy manpower effectively; motivate through training for productivity improvement.
• Coordinate with purchase & procurement to ensure a smooth supply of raw materials.
• Oversee machine operations, ensuring timely and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare manufacturing component drawings per GA drawing for customized business.
• Implement applicable standards (QMS, EMS, etc.) and group guidelines.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including CNQ costs.
• Ensure safety measures are in place to prevent accidents.
• Assist with the installation of new machinery.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

• Knowledge of sheet metal production, CNC machines, welding processes, and customized products.
• Experience with machine setup and breakdowns.
• Technical knowledge in product fabrication, engineering drawings, and the ability to prepare component drawings.
• Process and quality orientation.
• Strong problem-solving and planning skills

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-6 years of experience or B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 4-5 years of experience.
• 3-5 years of managerial experience in fabrication within the switchgear/panel manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Programming, and CNC Turret Punch Press is an advantage.
