Quality Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assure the quality of the product delivered.
  • Incoming and Outgoing inspection of parts – Visual and Parameters.
  • Sample preparation for metallography evaluation
  • Ensure process are inline with standards (QMS,EMS,Internal operation standards).
  • Inprocess inspection of the parts.
  • Oversee failures and involve in implementation of preventive actions & corrective actions for internal and external complaints.
  • Blocking & release of  non conforming equipments and parts.
  • Follow applicable QMS requirements
  • Calibration and inspection of testing equipments.
  • Preventive Maintenance of instruments
  • Liaison with external agencies for  calibration & service
  • Communicate plant manager in case of machine troubles/errors.
  • Adhere and ensure everyone in the department follows to all safety requirements.
  • Involve, suggest and implement HSE ,5S, OOE.
  • Working for continous improvement & excellence in performance of function.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.

Required education, experience, knowledge

  • Diploma in engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical/service industry.
  • Knowledge of Thermal Spray coating technology recommended
  • Customer oriented approach.
  • Open and positive mindset
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications and basic computers.
  • Able to operate ERP system
