Junior QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases. You will gain hands-on exposure to manual testing, test automation, Agile delivery, and AI-assisted QA practices.

This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a long-term career in QA Automation and SDET roles.

What You Will Do

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute manual test cases (functional, regression, sanity, smoke).
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Validate fixes and ensure end-to-end quality of features.

 
Automation & Technical Exposure

• Assist in writing and executing automated test scripts (UI/API).
  Understand automation concepts such as Page Object Model and test data handling.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
  Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman.

AI & Modern QA Practices

• Use AI tools for test case generation, test data creation, and defect analysis.
• Learn how AI complements automation and manual testing.
• Apply responsible AI usage in day-to-day QA activities.

Collaboration & Process

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
• Document test cases, test results, and quality metrics.
• Contribute to improving QA standards and best practices.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes
• Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java / JavaScript / Python/C#)
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong learning mindset and curiosity

Good-to-Have Skills

·   Exposure to automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
·   Basic API testing knowledge (Postman)
·   Familiarity with Git and version control
·   Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD pipelines
