QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test cases
• Build and maintain automation frameworks
• Develop and execute test scripts using Playwright
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
• Validate web applications and backend services for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives)
• Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously improve automation coverage and QA best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA (Automation)
• Hands-on experience with Playwright + or TypeScript/JavaScript (Must have)
• Experience in API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Knowledge of web application testing (UI + Backend)
• Understanding of test frameworks and automation design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Good To Have:

• Experience in Selenium WebDriver (Good to have)
• Experience in Java (Good to have)
• QA manual Experience will be plus
• Experience in e-commerce or web portal applications
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
• Experience with Git or version control systems
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Familiarity with React.js / Node.js based applications
