OneDayCoder is an emerging ed-tech startup on a mission to empower students with high-impact, one-day courses designed to accelerate interview preparation. We've just launched our MVP and are now gearing up to build the full-scale production platform packed with powerful features.

We're a remote-first company, but for those who prefer an office environment, we also offer the option to work onsite at our Chennai office.

Internship Overview:

We're seeking passionate and proactive Software Engineering Interns to join us in building the next version of our platform. You'll work directly on critical parts of our product — crafting interactive front-ends using ReactJS and Framer Motion, and developing backend services using Flask. As we scale, we plan to migrate the backend to Django.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an agile, fast-paced startup environment, where your contributions will have direct impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend features using ReactJS and Framer Motion

• Build and integrate backend APIs using Flask

• Participate in architecture discussions as we plan migration to Django

• Collaborate with a cross-functional remote team using tools like:

  • Workfolio, Jira – for task, timesheets and sprint management
  • Microsoft Teams – for meetings and communication
  • GitHub – for version control and collaborative development

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
• Experience working with Frontend Frameworks like ReactJS.
• Experience with software design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Currently in your penultimate year of study.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and remote collaboration tools (Workfolio, Jira, Teams, GitHub)​
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to showcase tech projects and participate in computer science-related extracurricular activities.
