Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications
  • Troubleshoot container, networking, and service issues
  • Support incident response and on-call activities
  • Document configurations and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for deployments and reliability
  • Automate tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code

 

Required Skills

  • Experience with Docker and Podman
  • Hands-on with Kubernetes / OpenShift / Rancher (RKE/K3s)
  • Hands on experience on open stack
  • Hands on experience on KVM
  • Strong Linux system administration skills
  • Understanding of HPE/Dell server infrastructure
  • Knowledge of networking: VPNs, DNS, load balancing, routing, firewalling
  • Scripting experience (Bash/Python)
  • Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery environments

Preferred Skills

  • Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • CI/CD pipeline exposure
  • Familiarity with IAM and cloud security best practices
  • Git version control
  • Proxmox and Nutanix.

Secondary Skills

Knowledge on VMware Skills

 

Monitoring & Tools

  • Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Kubernetes: CKA / CKAD
  • Linux: RHCSA / RHCE / LFCS
