WebMethods Consultant

We are seeking a skilled WebMethods Consultant with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in EAI and B2B integrations using Software AG WebMethods Suite. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level integration solutions, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integration flows using WebMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, and related components.
• Implement and support B2B/EDI integrations with various trading partners using standards like X12, EDIFACT, etc.
• Configure and manage communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S.
• Develop and maintain EDI maps, schemas, and document types.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and support teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution for integration failures or mapping errors.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in integration architecture.
• Maintain documentation for development and operational support.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in WebMethods development.
• Strong understanding of Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, and MWS.
• Hands-on experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT).
• Proficient in developing and managing partner profiles, agreements, and processing rules.
• Working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and API integrations.
• Experience with error handling, reprocessing, and performance tuning.
