With increasing emphasis on integrating contemporary themes such as digital literacy, environmental awareness, and financial literacy, the role presents opportunities to work on innovative projects across print and digital platforms.

Opportunity –

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

You will be responsible for end‑to‑end editorial development of English textbooks and learning resources, including:

  • Editing and proofreading manuscripts for grammar, clarity, consistency, and age‑appropriate language.
  • Adapting and refining content to align with curriculum standards.
  • Ensuring accuracy and pedagogical soundness of rubrics, answer keys, and teacher support materials.
  • Mapping textbook content to prescribed learning outcomes and competencies.
  • Integrating contemporary thematic elements into lessons.
  • Collaborating with authors, illustrators, designers, production, and rights/permissions teams.
  • Coordinating development of textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining version integrity through editorial logs and workflow systems.
  • Reviewing layouts and proofs for design accuracy, readability, and consistency.
  • Ensuring inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility across all content.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Master's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of ELT methodologies and classroom needs.
  • Familiarity with publishing tools (MS Word, Adobe, etc.) and digital platforms.
  • Strong organizational ability, communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability.

Desirable Criteria

  • 2–5 years of editorial experience in ELT publishing or school textbook development.
  • Experience working with curriculum frameworks and assessment design.
  • Exposure to both print and digital learning resource development.
