Application Engineer – Drone Systems

Job Summary

Looking for an Application Engineer with strong communication and customer-handling skills to support product demonstrations, customer interactions, and technical sales activities for drone-related products. The candidate should be capable of independently handling customers, understanding drone applications, and providing technical clarification and support.

Strong knowledge of drone systems and operations is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer communication and product discussions independently.
• Support sales activities, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Explain product features, integration, and drone applications clearly to customers.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams for customer support and issue resolution.
• Support field trials, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure smooth communication.
• Assist in preparing technical documents, presentations, and reports.
• Travel to customer locations for meetings, demos, and support when required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of drone systems and applications.
• Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage customer interactions.
• Basic understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and drone payloads.
• Good presentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and field support.
• Basic Programming skill must.
• Experience working with the MAVLink protocol.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in drone industry or technical sales.
• Knowledge of UAV payloads, cameras, communication systems, or integration.
• Exposure to field testing and deployment activities.

Qualification

BE / BTech / Diploma in ECE, EEE, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
