Senior Design & Development Engineer

**Role overview & Key responsibilities:**The Senior Design and Development Engineer will play a key role in driving PadCare's hardware innovation by taking ownership of product design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. The role requires strong CAD skills, hands-on fabrication knowledge, and a deep understanding of engineering principles to deliver high-quality sustainable products that align with PadCare's mission.

• Create accurate 3D CAD models, detailed part and assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to support manufacturing and assembly.
• Lead the end-to-end product development cycle – from ideation and prototyping to manufacturing and field implementation.
• Take responsibility for team handling and effective execution of projects.
• Analyze and optimize existing designs for improved performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
• Develop functional prototypes, conduct product testing, and incorporate user feedback into iterative improvements.
• Provide on-ground support during product development, trials, and implementation as required.
• Plan and manage design projects including timeline, budget, and workflow tracking.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement innovative product solution
