Job Description: Inventory Aging Executive

Reports To: Accounts / Operations Head

Role Summary

Monitor and track aging of all inventory across the supply chain — from factory stocks to market-level inventory at distributors and super stockists. Flag items nearing expiry or slow-moving stock before they become a problem.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Inventory

• Track aging of raw materials, packing materials, and other goods at all storage locations
• Maintain updated aging reports with clear visibility on stock movement
• Alert concerned teams when items approach critical aging thresholds

Market Inventory

• Monitor finished goods aging at distributors, super stockists, and other channel partners
• Coordinate with sales team to get stock and batch data from the market
• Identify slow-moving or near-expiry stock and escalate for action

Reporting & Escalation

• Prepare weekly/monthly aging reports for management review
• Proactively inform relevant stakeholders when stock movement is off track
• Suggest actions to clear aging stock before it becomes a loss

Requirements

Requirements

• Education: Graduate (any stream)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in inventory management, stock control, or similar role
• Comfortable with Excel and inventory software
• Good communication skills for coordination across teams
