1. Patient Billing:

2. Prepare and process patient bills accurately and efficiently.

3. Ensure all services and charges are correctly recorded and billed.

4. Address and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.

5. Discharge Summaries:

6. Type and prepare discharge summaries as required.

7. Ensure all relevant information is included and accurately documented.

8. Communication Management:

9. Handle incoming and outgoing communication related to billing and patient accounts.

10. Respond to inquiries from patients, family members, and healthcare providers regarding billing issues.

11. Communicate effectively with other departments to gather necessary billing information.

12. Financial Transactions:

13. Check counter-wise collection at the end of each shift.

14. Ensure all collected cash is accurately counted and recorded.

15. Deposit cash collections to the head cashier promptly and securely.

16. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

17. Collaboration and Coordination:

18. Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient billing operations.

19. Assist in resolving any inter-departmental issues related to billing.

20. Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving billing processes.

21. Compliance and Confidentiality:

22. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, especially regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.

23. Ensure all billing activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
