About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator ( PostgreSQL) to manage, maintain, and optimise PostgreSQL databases that support critical business applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, and high availability while ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL Database Administration.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and query optimisation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL backup and recovery tools.
• Hands-on experience with replication, clustering, and high availability.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with performance tuning and database monitoring.
• Understanding of database security best practices.
• Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and automation.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git is an advantage.
• Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• PostgreSQL certification is a plus.
