Business Analyst (Retention)

We are seeking a hands-on analyst to own retention analytics and the underlying technology stack, including CleverTap, Segment CDP, BigQuery, and MySQL. This role requires an individual who can independently build dashboards, conduct root-cause analysis, take full ownership of outcomes, and contribute directly to internal tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboarding & Reporting

• Develop and maintain retention dashboards covering performance and funnel metrics

• Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer of retention metrics across teams

Automation & AI-Enablement

• Identify manual, repetitive, or messy processes and rebuild them using AI-driven workflows to enable the team

to scale

• Apply AI tools thoughtfully and with judgment — understanding when and how to use them in context

Data Architecture

• Design and maintain clean, well-structured data tables and layers that enable smooth, scalable data

consumption across platforms

• Build data foundations with reuse and cross-platform consistency in mind, not one-off tables for a single

request

Ownership

• Own data and outcomes end-to-end — success is measured by impact, not by the existence of a table or

• Proactively identify what needs to be built or fixed, rather than working strictly off requests

Tech Layer

• Work across CleverTap, Segment, BigQuery, React, FastAPI, MySQL, Claude Code / Cursor

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in analytics with strong proficiency in SQL, and hands-on experience in BigQuery and

MySQL

• Hands-on experience with Python

• Practical experience using, integrating, and debugging APIs

• AI-native — fluent in using AI tools to accelerate analysis and automation, with the judgment to apply them

appropriately
