Job Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of Linux OS administration and its command line tools.
- Familiarity with network concepts, including firewalls, switches, routing and IPTables.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience automating or orchestrating the provisioning of new services.
- Experience managing and monitoring cloud based systems.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience in performing system admin functions.
- VM compute & storage management.
- Patching & hardening support.
- Manages daily activities related to configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provides system admin functions for end users including but not limited to accessing and using IT systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
- Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Support provisioning of virtual machines, virtual networks, VDI instances, other related hardware in the cloud or datacenter.
- Support implementation of servers, middleware, COTS, GOTS, and FOSS
- Providing support to development, test, and production teams with troubleshooting issues.
- Manage server images (AMI/VMware).
- Manage, track, report and process assigned tickets daily.
- Create SOP's and other documentation for use within the operations team.
Job Requirements:

Working technical knowledge of current protocols, Linux operating systems and standards.

2+ years of professional experience with system administration and System Event and system integrations. 3+ year of work experience with Linux & AWS administration.

At least two years of experience supporting or administering one or more enterprise server platforms, including but not limited to: Windows Server deployment, Active Directory, Exchange, Lync Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, and System Center Suite.

Expertise in Active Directory architecture and concepts. Domain Controller Management, Policy monitoring and compliance.

Manage group policy at root of domain and for Domain Controllers OU.

- Experience managing Ansible
- Hands-on Shell/Perl/Python scripting
