About the role

As a Senior Golang Developer at Pi, you will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and scaling our core platforms. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, using your deep understanding of Golang to create high-quality, efficient, and scalable software. You will be part of our technology team, based in Mumbai, India.

What you'll do

* Write high-quality, efficient, and testable Golang code, adhering to best practices. * Design and implement scalable microservices, architectures, and APIs. * Utilize Goroutines, channels, and gRPC for building highly performant solutions. * Work with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra. * Implement automated testing and deployment via CI/CD pipelines. * Work with Docker containers and Kubernetes to scale applications. * Use DevOps tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible. * Leverage AWS services like Lambda, ECS, S3 for cloud-native solutions.

What we're seeking

* Strong proficiency in Golang with a deep understanding of common software design principles. * Experience with relational (MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). * Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes. * Hands-on experience with cloud-native systems, leveraging AWS services like Lambda, ECS, and S3. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail. * 0-5 years of professional experience in a similar role. * Great team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

* -> Nice to Have: * Exposure to message queuing systems like SQS, Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ. * Familiarity with caching systems like Redis or Memcached.
