Job Description & Summary: We are hiring a DevOps and SRE Engineer to operate and continuously improve a large Azure-based production landscape. The role focuses on CI/CD operations, AKS and infrastructure reliability, observability, incident response, release readiness, and onboarding of new services. The engineer will work as an operations-focused enablement partner to ensure secure, stable, and efficient platform operations across environments. Job Position Title: IN_ Associate _ Devops Engineer _Emerging businesses_Advisory_Bangalore Responsibilities: · CI/CD support for about multiple microservices · Large Jenkins and Azure DevOps landscape · Multi-environment Azure setup including Prod DC/DR AKS, data platform, monitoring stack, and release operations in scope Manage and optimize Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines, including troubleshooting and plugin/config updates. · Support release planning, deployment readiness, production deployment, and rollback coordination. · Onboard new applications/services into CI/CD and operational tooling. · Operate AKS clusters and Kubernetes workloads (Deployments, Services, Ingress, Jobs, CronJobs). · Manage Azure infrastructure components such as Application Gateway, API · Management, VMs/VMSS, Storage, VNet, Private Endpoints, and databases. · Support platform security operations including secrets, keys, certificates, and vulnerability patching. · Perform backup/restore support and participate in DR readiness and validation exercises. · Operate observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK, Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics). · Own incident triage, escalation, communication support, and post-incident RCA tracking. · Drive reliability, performance, and cost optimization through automation and continuous improvement. · Work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and data teams for issue resolution and resilience improvements. · Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and reporting for SLA/KPI tracking. Mandatory skill sets: · Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud operations and AKS support. · Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Azure DevOps. · Practical Kubernetes troubleshooting skills in production environments. · Hands-on Docker knowledge and image lifecycle management. · Experience in observability, alerting, and production incident management. · Knowledge of Azure Key Vault and secure secret handling practices. · Experience with RCA, change governance, and SLA-driven support delivery. · Scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Preferred skill sets: · Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, ADLS, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL operations. · Experience with mobile app CI/CD (Fastlane, Play Store, App Store release process). · Working knowledge of cost optimization and capacity planning in Azure. · Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM workflows. · Exposure to AI-assisted operations, alert correlation, or remediation automation.
