As a Salesforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Salesforce applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Salesforce applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives. Job Description : Responsibilities: >Understand integration requirements from clients, API , and technical teams and translate them into scalable Salesforce integration solutions. >Design, develop, and implement Salesforce APIs and integrations with internal and external systems. >Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs and implement secure, reliable data exchange between Salesforce and third-party applications. >Design and implement integration solutions using appropriate Salesforce integration patterns and best practices. >Develop Apex-based integrations, including Apex REST/SOAP web services, HTTP callouts, Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, and Platform Events where applicable. >Configure and manage Named Credentials, External Credentials, Connected Apps, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. >Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent integration technologies as required . >Design efficient data synchronization and transformation processes between Salesforce and external systems. >Implement appropriate exception handling, retry mechanisms, logging, monitoring, and API error handling. >Ensure integrations comply with Salesforce governor limits, security standards, data integrity, and performance requirements. >Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of APIs and integrations across different SDLC environments. >Analyze and resolve defects identified by QA, business users, or client teams. >Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development and integration standards. >Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, integration design documents, and deployment documentation. >Provide technical knowledge transfer and support to Salesforce developers and integration teams. Mandatory skill sets: >Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, middleware teams, QA, and external application teams. >Ensure NFRs such as security, scalability, performance, availability, and data integrity are met. >Follow project timelines, development standards, CI/CD practices, and project-specific SDLC methodologies. Preferred skill sets: Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder, or relevant integration certifications are desired.
