| Responsibilities: | • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Power Automate cloud flows, Dataverse solutions, Copilot Studio agents, and custom connectors. • Develop and configure Copilot Studio agents for employee self-service, knowledge retrieval, business process support, and customer engagement — including topics, entities, variables, conversation flows, generative answers, actions, authentication, escalation, and handoff. • Integrate Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and third-party systems. • Build reusable components, custom connectors, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns; troubleshoot and optimise for performance, reliability, accuracy, and usability. • Configure security roles, permissions, authentication, data access controls, and governance standards. • Support application lifecycle management using solutions, environments, source control, pipelines, and automated deployments. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and unit, integration, system, user acceptance, and performance testing. • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. |
| Mandatory skill sets: | • Proven experience building enterprise Canvas apps and Model-driven apps with Microsoft Power Apps. • Advanced Power Automate skills: approvals, expressions, conditions, loops, child flows, error handling, retry logic, scheduled and event-driven automation. • Strong Dataverse proficiency across tables, relationships, data modelling, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, security roles, solutions, and auditing. • Strong SharePoint Online experience with lists, libraries, permissions, metadata, content types, and Power Platform integration. • Experience with standard, premium, custom, and HTTP connectors, and integration with Excel, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, and external APIs. • Understanding of environments, connection references, environment variables, solution layering, and application lifecycle management. 2.3.2. Azure Integration and Services — 20% • Integration of Power Platform with Azure SQL Database and SQL Server. • Azure Service Bus and enterprise messaging patterns; familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Key Vault. • Consuming REST APIs and working with JSON, HTTP requests, authentication, and data transformation. • Integration security, monitoring, logging, exception handling, and retry mechanisms. • Ability to design secure and scalable Azure integration solutions for Power Platform applications. 2.3.3. Copilot Studio Development — 20% • Hands-on experience developing and deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio agents. • Configuring topics, entities, variables, triggers, custom actions, generative answers, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, escalation, and handoff. • Integrating Copilot Studio with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, APIs, and Azure services. • Authentication, authorisation, security, privacy, compliance, and governance for Copilot solutions. • Prompt design, grounding, knowledge retrieval, response evaluation, and publishing agents to Teams, websites, and other supported channels. |
| Preferred skill sets: | • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing multiple priorities to agreed timelines. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and enterprise application delivery. • Hands-on experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph, and Power BI dashboards and reports. • Experience with Agile and Scrum, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. • Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence practices, licensing, capacity management, environment strategy, and tenant administration. • Experience implementing enterprise chatbots, virtual agents, and knowledge assistants, and supporting production applications and incident resolution. |
