Job Description: E-learning Designer

Position Overview:

The E-learning Designer will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing engaging e-learning content for PrismHR and PrismHCM platforms. This role involves utilizing technical skills in content creation and editing, administering the Learning Management System (LMS), and providing training and support to stakeholders. The E-learning Designer will also contribute to team initiatives and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
    • Research and develop engaging content for PrismHR, PrismHCM, as well as any newly acquired platforms.
    • Create knowledge check questions to ensure comprehension and retention.
    • Conduct content reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all content, including development status, description, length, upload date, and annual enrollments.
  2. Content Editing:
    • Edit video content, including sound checks and removing vocal errors.
    • Utilize Storyline to enhance content with transitions, zoom regions, slide formatting, and interactive elements.
    • Create and edit quiz content, including formatting, scoring, and feedback layers.
    • Assist in the review process by publishing Articulate 360 and implementing necessary edits based on feedback.
  3. LMS Administration:
    • Publish content to the LMS for both internal and external audiences.
    • Manage the content library, creating courses and learning programs with uploaded content.
    • Set up preferences for each course and provide course descriptions.
    • Conduct end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, and technology request assistance.
    • Monitor and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
    • Provide LMS training and support to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Handle LMS cases, including adding/deleting users, updating courses, and troubleshooting issues.
    • Facilitate new customer LMS intro/demo meetings to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  4. Team Collaboration and Support:
    • Actively participate in content reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    • Host Foundations sessions on Fridays, contributing to the ongoing development of team members.
    • Assist in publishing articles to the CRC for knowledge sharing.
    • Contribute to New Hire training initiatives, leveraging expertise in the field.

  • Proven expertise in content creation and editing, particularly using tools like Storyline.
  • Strong proficiency in LMS administration and troubleshooting.
