Assistant Maths/Science Teacher

About the role:

The GT is the backbone of daily classroom operations and the go-to support for students who are lagging behind. Being a good explainer is not enough — we're looking for someone who actually cares about student growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct daily remedial classes for the bottom 25% of each class — doubt-solving and test preparation
• Take backup classes for students who missed chapters (absence or upcoming school exams)
• Take daily batch attendance on the Profiquence App, exactly at class start time
• Call parents of absent students the same day and report in the team channel
• Supervise weekly exams (Wednesday & Saturday): paper distribution, seating, strict invigilation
• Maintain the class marks file, upload marks into our system, and allot ClassDojo points weekly
• Track student Dojo records and coordinate badges/awards with Main Teachers

Requirements:

• Graduate (any stream); ability to teach/explain Maths, Science, SS or English up to Grade 10
• Comfortable with basic computer and mobile app usage
• Clear, polite communication with students and parents (Hindi/Gujarati/English)
• Punctual, disciplined, and process-driven — this role runs on daily consistency
• Freshers with the right attitude welcome; tuition/coaching experience is a plus

Work schedule: Monday–Saturday (6 days)

Time: 2 to 8pm
