About the Role

**As a Backend Developer (.NET), you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices powering modern applications. You will collaborate with frontend, product, DevOps, and data teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services aligned with business requirements.

This role is ideal for engineers with 3–5 years of hands-on backend development experience who are strong in coding, API development, and database design, and eager to grow into advanced distributed and cloud-native systems.**

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET / .NET Core / .NET 6+ / .NET 7+ and C#

·       Build and enhance RESTful APIs / Web APIs with proper authentication, validation, and error handling

·       Develop scalable microservices and modular backend components

·       Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic in SQL Server

·       Implement asynchronous programming, caching, and performance optimization

·       Integrate applications with Azure services

·       Ensure secure coding practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, OWASP basics)

·       Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, builds, and deployments

·       Write unit tests and participate in code reviews

·       Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability

·       Follow Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to technical improvements

·       Document APIs, backend flows, and technical decisions

What We're Looking For

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / related field

·       3–5 years of backend development experience using .NET / .NET Core

·       Strong knowledge of C#, OOP, SOLID principles, and clean coding

·       Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development

·       Good experience in SQL Server (query writing, joins, indexing, performance tuning basics)

·       Understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems basics

·       Experience with Azure cloud services (App Service, Azure SQL, Functions, Storage, etc.)

·       Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines

·       Understanding of authentication (JWT / OAuth) and secure API development

·       Knowledge of async/await, multithreading, and performance tuning basics
