As a Global US Payroll– Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing the people lifecycle and operational tasks related to employee management. This includes overseeing employee onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Within our People Operations practice, you will be the primary HR point of contact, resolving inquiries and supporting our workforce efficiently.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, enhancing your personal brand and technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support HR processes and systems, confirming smooth operations. You will be part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your ability to respond effectively to diverse perspectives and use critical thinking to break down complex concepts will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and payroll administration
  • Coordinating employee inquiries and resolving issues in line with HR protocols
  • Administering benefits and absence management to support workforce needs
  • Maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations through diligent record-keeping
  • Utilizing HR software to enhance service delivery and streamline processes
  • Supporting employee engagement strategies and fostering a positive work environment
  • Implementing process improvements to optimize HR operations and service delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to address complex business issues from strategy to execution
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Analyzing data to inform HR metrics and drive strategic decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining meaningful client connections to enhance HR service delivery
  • Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in navigating complex HR situations

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Measurement, Data Science, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, or a related field
  • Demonstrating proficiency in HR Software and Employee Data Management
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights
