Senior Lead Engineer - FCT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Functional Circuit Test (FCT) development and validation for semiconductor products/platforms.
• Perform board bring-up, silicon validation support, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Develop and execute hardware validation and test plans.
• Work closely with ASIC/SoC, FPGA, firmware, board design, and manufacturing teams.
• Support NPI, manufacturing test readiness, and production ramp activities.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, LabVIEW, Shell, or similar tools.
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, JTAG/debug tools, DMMs, and power analyzers.
• Validate interfaces and protocols such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, and SerDes.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Improve test coverage, yield, reliability, and validation efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Functional Circuit Testing (FCT) and semiconductor hardware validation.
• Hands-on experience in board-level debugging and failure analysis.
• Good understanding of SoC/ASIC-based systems and embedded hardware platforms.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and protocol validation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing test processes and NPI activities.
• Experience in automation and scripting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Embedded Systems, or related field.
