Job Description
As a QA Engineer at Radar360, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, proactively identifying potential issues before they reach our users. Your ability to combine high attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership will be key in delivering exceptional product quality.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement test strategies, automate critical flows, and integrate AI tools into the QA process. This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-agency environment, embraces continuous learning, and consistently goes above and beyond to improve testing effectiveness and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Perform API testing (REST) preferably Postman and develop Playwright automation scripts for web testing.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensure QA sign-off.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects to closure using JIRA (or similar tools).
- Implement test automation best practices and contribute to continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Explore and leverage AI-driven testing approaches (e.g., automated test case generation, intelligent defect prediction, log analysis).
- Document test strategies, plans, and reports to support delivery management and compliance needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3- 4 years of professional experience in Software Testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with Postman and Playwright for API and UI testing.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for test scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and Cursor is a plus.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player, adapt quickly, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
