Position Summary:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, particularly in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and improving the operational efficiency of cloud-based environments, as well as managing system monitoring, security, automation, and performance tuning. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

• Implement, configure, and maintain cloud services including EC2, EKS, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, and others within AWS.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, application deployment, and system performance.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the smooth deployment of applications and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.

• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and resource utilization.

• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud resources, including managing access controls, firewalls, and identity management (IAM).

• Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring data backup and availability.

• Provide support for incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, cloud technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, Redshift, RDS, Aurora VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and deployment automation.
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and security concepts in a cloud environment.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Search, Kibana and other similar third-party solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve infrastructure issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Experience with AWS cost optimization tools and strategies.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity processes.

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
