Data Engineer _ PGS

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Kafka to design and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient, high-performance data solutions on modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions in Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Implement real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines using Kafka and other streaming technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data delivery for analytics and business needs.
• Automate workflows and monitor pipeline performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Establish data quality frameworks and implement governance best practices.
• Work with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and orchestration.

• Snowflake (2.5+ years) – experience in building data models, writing complex SQL queries, managing warehouses, and optimizing performance.
• Python (5+ years) – proficiency in developing ETL scripts, automation, and data transformation logic.
• SQL (5+ years) – expert-level query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Kafka – hands-on experience with event-driven data pipelines and streaming architectures.
