š” As co- founders we take pride in the fact that people who have worked with us in the past, want to work with us again!
Great! Now let's talk about You and this Role! š
This role is a great fit for someone who is creative, bold, and deeply excited about building brands people remember. You'll work closely with the Founders and the GTM leadership team to shape Reo.Dev's brand narrative - how we show up in the market, how we're talked about, and how we stand out in a crowded DevTool ecosystem.
Reo.Dev is at a breakout moment. We launched in Oct 2023, and within just two years we've become one of the most talked-about platforms in the DevTool world. The best DevTool companies globally use Reo, and we've reached strong PMF. Now we're entering our next chapter - moving from being known to owning the DevGTM narrative.
This is where you come in.
šØ What will you be working on?
- Conceptualising and executing bold brand campaigns that make Reo.Dev memorable in the DevTool and GTM ecosystem
- Coming up with out-of-the-box, viral-worthy ideas - content, stunts, collaborations, launches, narratives
- Building brand moments around launches, reports, events, conferences, and cultural moments
- Collaborating with creators, designers, and agencies (especially in the US / global markets) to bring ideas to life
- Experimenting with formats - video, social, community-led campaigns, experiential ideas
- Owning brand execution end-to-end: idea ā execution ā distribution ā learning
- Helping Reo.Dev build a distinct, memorable, category-defining brand
šÆ Who will excel at this role?
Above everything else, we're looking for hunger to learn. If that's real, the rest we can build on. You will enjoy this role if these sound like you:
- You have strong communication skills. Writing especially - you understand how copy shifts when the audience, format, and objective change. You can hold a point of view and defend it.
- You think provocatively. You're not scared to have a take, and you know a boring post when you see one. You'd rather ship something sharp than something safe.
- You're comfortable reading data. You can look at what's working, connect the dots, and let the numbers shape what you do next.
- You use AI like a power tool. You're already building workflows, automating the boring stuff, and experimenting with what's new. But you have taste - you'd never ship something that doesn't feel like a person wrote it.
- Deadlines & aggressive growth trajectories excite you!
- You think visually. You can walk into a room and already see how the video should be shot, or how a post should look in the feed.
- You love consuming content. You have opinions on what's working, and you can tell why.
- And you have fun while doing it!
Prior social media experience is a plus - but more than that, show us you've actually thought about this space.
šÆ What qualities we look for in our team members?
While there is no stencil for the type of people we like, there are a few traits that might make Reo.Dev a better fit for you. Reo.Dev might be a good fit if you:
- Work hard, hands-on and want to grow really fast.
- Care about your work a great deal, find it highly unsettling if the quality of work is even slightly sub-par.
- Execute fast.
- Are hands on (we will not have elaborate reporting structures for the foreseeable future and hopefully ever).
- Are someone people like to work with, low on ego, high on humility
- Have the ability to fail, learn and keep trying till you win. Start-ups are tough and we will not get everything right the first time
- Have a longish view of your career growth and not optimising for the next 1-2 years
