Software Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team. The role involves building scalable, reliable and high-performance applications, with a primary focus on backend development while also contributing to full-stack development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable applications with a primary focus on backend development.
• Contribute to the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and design to development, testing and deployment.
• Design and develop robust, maintainable and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with product, technology and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, reliability and code quality.
• Write and maintain technical documentation where required.

What We'll Need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably with Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
