We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Feasibility Study & Design to Manufacture (D2M) Engineer to support the digital phase of vehicle process engineering. This role is pivotal in ensuring product designs are robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective while aligning with digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will act as a bridge between product development, manufacturing, and digital engineering teams to validate and optimize design feasibility during early vehicle development phases. Conduct feasibility studies during concept and early development phases of vehicle programs using digital tools (CAD/CAE). Evaluate product designs for manufacturing compatibility, assembly constraints, tooling feasibility, and ergonomic factors. Drive early-stage digital simulations and virtual build events to identify potential production challenges and improvement opportunities. Collaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing, and simulation teams to propose DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) improvements. Develop and implement virtual validation strategies, including digital mock-ups, DMU (Digital Mock-Up), and VR/AR tools where applicable. Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility review documentation, and risk assessments to cross-functional teams.
