Dimensional Variation Analysis Engineer

Gather Inputs (CAD, GD&T, Assembly process Gap and flush and Functional requirement and connect with the cross functional team to understand the requirements. Define the Stack up objective and analysis methods. Complete the Variation analysis in 3DCS / VSA tool and present report. Propose design / tolerance / datum process modification to achieve the required gap and flush / functional requirement and converge with cross functional team. Review and validate supplier studies and converge supplier meeting the gap and flush targets. Define Assembly process and tolerance that meets the engineering targets. Perform Root cause analysis for assembly builds and vehicle not meeting targets during launch / production. Analyze measurement data and simulate the possible occurrence virtually. Provide solution for the Build issues. Document lessons learnt and best practices. Provide process/design standardization.
