Narrative Writer

We are looking for a master storyteller who understands that the first 5 seconds of a video can make or break a campaign. Our ads aren't just commercials; they are serialised micro-dramas. We need a Narrative Writer who can craft compelling backstories, high-stakes openings, and "hooks" that stop the scroll and keep the audience glued to the screen.

Key Responsibilities:

Write

10–30 second narrative "hooks" or backstories

that lead seamlessly into our micro-drama episodes.

Quickly

establish stakes, motivations, and conflicts

that make the audience care about the characters instantly.

Analyze performance data to understand which narrative tropes are working and pivot your writing style accordingly.

Work closely with the performance marketing team to ensure the narrative aligns with visual pacing and conversion goals.

Stay ahead of digital storytelling trends to engage the audience with new creative ideas.

Requirements:

Minimum

3 years of experience

in scriptwriting for digital-first content, preferably within

digital entertainment, OTT platforms, or high-growth D2C brands.

Proven ability to write short-form content that captures attention immediately (Short films, viral reels, or YouTube storytelling).

A deep understanding of

"The Hero's Journey," "Open Loops," and emotional triggers

(betrayal, revenge, underdog stories, etc.).

Must be able to work from our

Bangalore office

to collaborate with the creative team in person.

Bonus Points if you have worked on "Micro-Drama" apps.

Fluent Hindi communication is mandatory (spoken).
