Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our technical sales initiatives, drive business growth, and build strong customer relationships across the manufacturing and textile industries. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic sales leadership to identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, lead the sales team, and deliver revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Lead and mentor the technical sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within textile, manufacturing, industrial automation, and related sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, OEMs, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Conduct high-level technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable AI-powered automation and machine vision solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, contract closure, and account management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance reports for management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth coordination during implementation and post-sales support.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related field).
  • 2- 5 years of experience in Zoho, CRM, Technical Sales, B2B Sales, Business Development, or Industrial Solution Sales.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in leading or managing a sales team.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, machine vision systems, manufacturing technologies, or related industrial solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions, and business development activities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI-based automation, machine vision, industrial inspection systems, or manufacturing technologies.
  • Knowledge of technical textiles and web inspection systems.
  • Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, or channel partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management will be an added advantage.
