Rocket Internet India is currently looking for Venture Development Managers to play a key role in starting and developing new projects in India.

We are looking for young, driven, entrepreneurial, talented rising stars to develop and grow new startups and play key operating roles in our growth businesses in India.

In the past few years, we have supported numerous successful ventures with our unparalleled online expertise, network of contacts and capital. Some of our best-known internet projects include Groupon, Zalando and eDarling.

We are actively recruiting for India. Over last three months, we have launched three ventures in India – Jabong, Glossybox and HeavenandHome, and we are planning more. Our India team includes people from leading consulting/finance firms (McKinsey, Bain & Co, BCG, Sequoia) as well as leading international business schools (HBS, Wharton, Booth, LBS).

Your tasks will include:

Be first on the site when we launch new companies.

Take responsibility and drive all activities required to launch a new company, including:

• Verify business case and conduct market analysis
• Develop and implement company structure
• Recruit required talent
• Establish supplier strategy
• Set up logistic solutions
• Develop and execute on marketing, customer acquisition and PR strategy
• Secure IT setup
• Report directly to the CEO or Head of Project
