Junior Officer - Packaging Development

• Preparing a draft Packaging Bill of Materials for both Domestic and Export markets.
• Handling Change Control activities (initiation, action plan, and final closure) in eQAMS.
• Received digital proofs and shade card approvals from vendors.
• Resolving technical queries from the site related to packaging materials.
• Coordinating with Planning, QA, QC, Purchase, Production, F&D, and Regulatory teams for product changes or new launches.
• Checking artworks for primary and secondary packaging materials.
• Working with artists to prepare packaging artworks.
• Coordinating with QA, Regulatory, and Marketing for artwork approvals in AMS.
• Checking mock-ups and change parts.
• Developing primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials for new products.
• Visiting printing vendors for shade approvals of new products.

Requirements

• Graduate from Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) – specialization in both Commercial & R&D Packaging
• 1 to 3 years of experience in packaging development
• Basic understanding of packaging materials (primary, secondary & tertiary)
• Hands-on experience in artwork checking and coordination
• Knowledge of QAMS (Quality Management System)
• Familiar with AMS (Artwork Management System)
• Experience in using DMS (Document Management System)
• Exposure to change control processes
• Coordination with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Production, Regulatory, Marketing)
• Ability to handle technical packaging queries
• Experience in vendor interaction for shade card and proof approvals
• Involved in mock-up and trial sample preparation
• Understanding of packaging regulatory requirements for domestic & export markets
• Willingness to visit printing/vendor sites when required
• Good communication and follow-up skills
