Buying and Merchandising Intern

What ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for a Buying and Merchandising Intern who will support vendor coordination, production follow–ups, and sourcing operations across our apparel supply chain. This person will work closely with the buying and merchandising team to track production progress, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth day–to–day operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with sourcing and production activities for apparel categories.
• Coordinate with garment manufacturers and suppliers for day–to–day updates.
• Follow up with vendors on production schedules and order status.
• Coordinate with merchants and internal teams for production–related activities.
• Track production timelines and highlight potential delays.
• Support the timely inwarding of finished goods into the warehouse.
• Help monitor vendor performance on quality and delivery timelines.
• Assist with maintaining production reports, vendor records, and sourcing documentation.
• Coordinate with Quality, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify operational gaps and support process improvement initiatives.

• 0–1 year of experience in apparel sourcing, buying, merchandising, or garment production. Freshers are welcome.
• Basic understanding of garment manufacturing, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• A proactive, hands–on approach to problem–solving and execution.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
