Description
- Leading a team of 25-30 highly skilled team members ranging from L1 Executives & L2 to Leads.
- Managing Business IT Operations for the US Clients.
- Managing DBA operational activities spread across 24x7 environments.
- Strong knowledge in Database Administration.
- Hands-on experience in MS SQL server.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
- Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
- Design career development plans for team members that help them discover and achieve their career goals.
- Drive programs and projects focused on implementing, managing, and evolving core operational competencies involving vendor management, service and process management, quality management, data reporting and analytics, workflow automation etc.
- Oversee the health of the team's operational services and processes.
- Manage strategic vendor roadmap and vendor program deliverables in alignment with the team's service goals.
- Work cross-functionally and with process and data specialists on analyzing operational workflows, and drive improvements for user experience, efficiency, and quality.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Eligibility Criteria
- Leading a team of 25-30 highly skilled team members ranging from L1 Executives & L2 to Leads.
- Strong knowledge in Database Administration.
- Hands-on experience in MS SQL server.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
- Experience with Multi terabytes size databases.
- Experience with identifying bottlenecks and fixing them.
- Strong knowledge of HADR configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Always On.
- Hands-on experience with replication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to organize and plan work independently.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
