About the Role

This internship is designed for individuals who enjoy blending product strategy with hands-on creation. You will work closely with product leadership, engineering, and design teams to shape features, validate concepts, and build rapid prototypes. Expect involvement across the full product lifecycle: user and market research, ideation, design, experimentation, development validation, and release. The role suits candidates who can quickly translate ideas into working POCs or visual mockups and who bring a strong sense of usability, interaction flow, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
● Research customer problems, market trends, and competitive products.
● Analyze usage patterns, product metrics, and user feedback to identify opportunities.
● Build lightweight prototypes or automation scripts to validate ideas before development.
● Design quick UI mocks or flows to demonstrate concepts clearly to stakeholders.
● Work with engineering to refine requirements, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
● Explore APIs and integrations to assess feasibility of product ideas and value.
● Test new features, document outcomes, and track impact.
● Create presentations, internal demos, and documentation.

Qualifications:
● Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
● Strong coding fundamentals and experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) demonstrated through projects, internships, or hackathons.
● Ability to build simple tools, scripts, or UI prototypes when needed.
● Understanding of APIs and web technologies; familiarity with API tools like Postman or Swagger.
● Interest in AI and LLMs with the ability to experiment using available APIs or frameworks.
● Analytical problem-solving ability and comfort working with data.
● Strong communication and teamwork.

Key Skills:
● Technical prototyping
● UI/UX mock creation and flow design
● Product thinking
● Market and user research
● Data analysis
● Collaboration with cross-functional teams

Core AI Specific Skill Requirements in General:

Securin is committed to becoming an AI-native organization where GenAI is embedded into how every team works - not just as an occasional assistant, but as a core part of delivery, operations, and how our expertise compounds over time. We expect every employee to actively integrate GenAI tools into daily workflows - automating routine tasks, accelerating research and analysis, drafting documents, and building reusable AI-powered processes for their function. You should understand the limitations of GenAI (including inaccuracies and data sensitivity boundaries), follow data classification rules, and continuously improve your AI proficiency. As you grow, we expect you to move beyond using GenAI to building with it - designing agent workflows, contributing reusable skills, and helping Securin compound its Proactive Exposure Management expertise faster than any competitor can replicate.

  • Demonstrated ability to use GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for daily work - drafting, research, summarization, data analysis, code generation, or workflow automation as relevant to the role

  • Working knowledge of GenAI limitations including hallucination risk, context window constraints, and data sensitivity boundaries; ability to validate AI-generated output before acting on it

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques - structuring multi-step instructions, providing context, and iterating on output quality to achieve production-grade results

  • Comfort with agentic AI workflows - using, designing, or building multi-step AI agents that execute tasks autonomously with human-in-the-loop validation

  • Awareness of AI security fundamentals - prompt injection risks, data classification rules, sandboxed execution, and responsible handling of sensitive data in AI workflows

  • Familiarity with connecting GenAI tools to internal data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems

  • Ability to contribute reusable AI skills, templates, agent configurations, or automation workflows to a shared repository for team-wide use

  • Willingness to learn and adopt new AI tools as they evolve; participation in AI adoption sprints, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing within the team

Why This Role Matters : This internship offers an opportunity to influence real product decisions while building practical experience in both product and development workflows.
