Intern Product (Integrations)

About the Role :

We are seeking a driven Product Intern with strong technical foundations to join our platform team. This internship blends product ownership with hands-on engineering work. You will help shape integration requirements, understand customer and market needs, write implementation logic when needed, configure integrations end to end, validate data flow, and analyze performance. The role provides exposure to how product decisions translate into real features within the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
● Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code for integration components
● Assist in developing and maintaining backend integration workflows and platform features
● Review and work with third-party APIs and services to ensure compatibility
● Participate in debugging, testing, and optimizing data ingestion and processing flows
● Configure integrations end to end, including setup, mapping, and validation
● Analyze behavior, performance, and data quality across integrations to recommend improvements
● Work with product leadership to refine requirements, document use cases, and prioritize enhancements
● Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams and contribute to discussions
● Prepare documentation, setup guides, and internal demos for new integrations

Required Skills:
● Strong understanding of Java fundamentals and OOP concepts
● Familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Hibernate is a plus
● Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
● Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms
● Ability to interpret API and integration documentation
● Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
● Good communication and teamwork skills

• Demonstrated ability to use GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for daily work - drafting, research, summarization, data analysis, code generation, or workflow automation as relevant to the role
• Working knowledge of GenAI limitations including hallucination risk, context window constraints, and data sensitivity boundaries; ability to validate AI-generated output before acting on it
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques - structuring multi-step instructions, providing context, and iterating on output quality to achieve production-grade results
• Comfort with agentic AI workflows - using, designing, or building multi-step AI agents that execute tasks autonomously with human-in-the-loop validation
• Awareness of AI security fundamentals - prompt injection risks, data classification rules, sandboxed execution, and responsible handling of sensitive data in AI workflows
• Familiarity with connecting GenAI tools to internal data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Ability to contribute reusable AI skills, templates, agent configurations, or automation workflows to a shared repository for team-wide use
• Willingness to learn and adopt new AI tools as they evolve; participation in AI adoption sprints, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing within the team
