Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which India plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Legal Associate to join our team. This role will be based in Bengaluru, India.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to join our Legal team. The role involves end-to-end legal support across contract management, regulatory tracking, legal research, policy drafting, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing legal assignments while partnering closely with global legal teams, commercial, product, and compliance teams to enable compliant and efficient business operations.

Key Deliverables:

• Track and analyze regulatory developments and legal updates relevant to the organization and provide recommendations on potential business impact.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Supply Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Advertising Agreements, and other business contracts.
• Maintain and manage the company's contract repository, ensuring accurate record-keeping, version control, and documentation governance.
• Partner closely with global legal and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of legal support across jurisdictions.
• Manage statutory, corporate secretarial, and regulatory compliance requirements across jurisdictions, including maintaining an audit-ready compliance calendar and supporting regulatory filings.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of data privacy practices and compliance with applicable data protection laws across the organization.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical guidance to business stakeholders on routine legal and compliance matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification
• 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal and/or other proven matter and contract management experience including contract review, drafting and negotiation.
• Excellent English communication skills, with prior experience working with in-house legal teams across APAC.
• Prior experience in legal operations, shared services, or an in-house legal function
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
