Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Counsellor (Psychologist) to support the mental health and well-being of undergraduate students. The role involves providing individual and group counselling, applying evidence-based psychotherapies, and conducting workshops on mental health and wellness. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, ethical, and experienced in handling student-related concerns, including addiction issues.

| Key Responsibilities | * Provide face-to-face counselling to students on campus * Offer online counselling sessions as required * Conduct individual and group therapy sessions * Apply evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy * Support students dealing with emotional, academic, and behavioural challenges, including addictions * Organize and conduct workshops, webinars, and awareness programs on mental health topics * Participate in crisis intervention and management when needed * Develop and facilitate mental health content and programs * Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, including monthly client intake and documentation * Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all counselling practices * Strong understanding of psychological counselling techniques and mental health issues * Ability to apply psychotherapies in real-life scenarios * High level of empathy, integrity, and professionalism | ||
| Educational Qualifications | * Master's Degree in Psychology (full-time) with specialization in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a reputed institute | ||
| Professional Certifications | * Certified in counselling courses from a recognized/prestigious institute * Certification and supervised training in CBT and REBT (preferably under experts associated with the Albert Ellis Institute or equivalent) | ||
| Professional Experience | * Minimum 1 year of practical experience in counselling * Experience working with undergraduate or university-level students * Proven experience in handling sensitive issues with confidentiality * Experience in conducting workshops on mental health topics | ||
