Are you looking for a role where you can take ownership from day one, work with international suppliers, and grow fast in a global organization?
Join our Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team in Goa and play a key role in ensuring the quality of Siemens products across the entire supply chain, particularly for advanced electrical infrastructure solutions such as gas-insulated switchgear, which are essential for reliable and sustainable power distribution worldwide.
Your Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of a global network that ensures suppliers meet Siemens quality standards. You will work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to improve supplier performance and drive sustainable quality improvements.
This role offers a steep learning curve, early responsibility, and strong exposure to international projects – giving you hands-on experience at the core of Siemens' global supply chain.
What You Will Do
- Support supplier qualification and approval processes in collaboration with procurement
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and continuously improved
- Participate in supplier audits and follow up on improvement actions
- Analyze quality issues and support root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5Why)
- Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations)
- Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support implementation of Siemens SQM standards and processes
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Initial experience in quality, production, or manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of quality methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams
- Experience and Certification as auditor for ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3 are a plus
- Fluency in English; local language is a plus
