Description
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice verification, posting, processing, billing, and payment tracking.
- Prepare, verify, and process vendor invoices, customer invoices, e-invoices, e-bills, credit notes, debit notes, receipts, and advance adjustments.
- Manage vendor payments, payment scheduling, vendor statement reconciliation, and timely settlement of outstanding dues.
- Handle customer ledger creation, maintenance, reconciliation, payment follow-ups, and accounts receivable ageing and outstanding analysis.
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS), vendor reconciliations, customer account reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Handle GST and TDS calculations, accounting entries, deductions, reconciliations, and related statutory compliance requirements.
- Support GST returns, e-invoicing, e-billing, and other applicable tax documentation and filing activities.
- Assist in payroll processing, salary calculations, payroll-related accounting entries, and employee payment processing.
- Manage E-net transactions, online banking activities, and electronic fund transfers while ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
- Maintain employee headcount records and support payroll-related data management and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Employees' Provident Fund (EPF/PF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI), and coordinate timely contributions, returns, and filings as per applicable due dates.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring accurate accounting entries and timely completion of reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports, financial statements, dashboards, and periodic management reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, expense monitoring, variance analysis, and financial planning.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify discrepancies, monitor financial performance, and provide relevant insights to management.
- Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and other relevant formulas and functions.
- Prepare reports and dashboards using Power BI to support financial analysis and management decision-making.
- Work with ERP systems and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, and other relevant financial management tools.
- Leverage AI tools and automation solutions to improve accounting efficiency, streamline reporting, and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documents, invoices, payment proofs, and audit trails for internal and external audits.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and ledger differences.
- Ensure proper documentation, data accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and statutory consultants to ensure smooth financial operations.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CA Semi-Qualified, or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Finance.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, with hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, billing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll processing, ESI, PF, and applicable statutory compliance and filing requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP), with working knowledge of ERP systems, Tally, Zoho Books, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- MBA in Finance is an added advantage.
