The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: At SITA, we design digital experiences that connect airports, airlines, borders, and passengers across the globe. We're looking for an enthusiastic Associate UX Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, modern, and user-centred experiences. This role is ideal for someone early in their UX career who wants to develop their skills while working alongside experienced designers, product teams, and engineers. You'll contribute to products that serve millions of users worldwide and help shape the future of AI-powered enterprise experiences. As part of our UX Practice, you'll work across a suite of products, helping create a consistent and holistic user experience while contributing to our evolving design system, AI initiatives, and next-generation user interfaces. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Design & User Experience Design engaging, intuitive, and accessible experiences for one or more products within the SITA portfolio. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma. Contribute to the evolution of our Design System and help ensure consistency across products. Apply user-centred design principles to solve complex business and customer challenges. User Research & Validation Support and conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, workshops, and usability testing. Analyse user feedback and behavioural insights to inform design decisions. Collaborate with senior designers to translate research findings into actionable design improvements. Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers throughout the product lifecycle. Provide design specifications, assets, and documentation to support development teams. Participate in design critiques, workshops, and collaborative design sessions. Help advocate for great user experiences and design best practices across teams. AI & Emerging Experiences Explore and design AI-assisted user experiences, including conversational interfaces and intelligent workflows. Contribute to the design of agent-based and AI-driven user interfaces that improve efficiency and decision-making. Experiment with emerging AI design tools and methodologies to enhance design quality and delivery speed. Qualifications ABOUT YOUR SKILLS 1–3 years of experience working in UX, UI, Product Design, or related design roles. Experience designing digital products within a software or technology environment. Strong proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, auto-layout, and design systems. Understanding of UX principles, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), accessibility, and responsive design. Familiarity with UX artefacts such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, usability reports, and research findings. Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience collaborating within Agile product teams. Nice to Have Experience using AI-powered design tools and workflows. Interest in designing conversational, agentic, or intelligent user experiences. Exposure to design systems and component libraries. Experience with data visualisation or enterprise software products. Aviation, airport, airline, or travel industry experience. UX or visual design certifications (NN/g, HFI, IDF, or equivalent).
