System Admin + Devops Engineer

• System Administration: Oversee hardware and software installations, manage files and directories, and monitor servers across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Server Management: Administer system backups, restore operations, and Active Directory, ensuring seamless user and data management.
• DevOps & Automation: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to streamline software deployment and delivery.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Manage source code using Git and GitHub, fostering efficient collaboration and version control practices.
• Configuration Management: Deploy and maintain automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef to ensure consistent system configurations.
• Network Administration: Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, VPNs, and firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient network connectivity.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage AWS services (EC2, Auto Scaling, ELB, RDS, S3, IAM) with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Nagios, Grafana, and Icinga for real-time system monitoring, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts using Python, Ruby, or Perl to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Apply strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and teamwork to troubleshoot complex issues while maintaining adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• System Administration: Proficient in Linux fundamentals, Windows administration, and macOS operations.
• DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Networking & Security: Strong understanding of networking principles, firewall management, and virtualization technologies.
• Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud computing services, particularly AWS and its associated tools.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
