HR Executive

Description
The HR Executive will be responsible for end-to-end execution of HR operations at Skill Stork International School, supporting the HR Manager in recruitment, payroll preparation, attendance management, statutory documentation, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance support across IB, Cambridge, and CBSE programmes.
This role requires high ownership, confidentiality, accuracy, and coordination skills in a fast-growing educational institution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Execution
- Collect and manage resumes from job portals, emails, references, and recruitment drives
- Screen resumes as per defined criteria and update candidate status in Zoho Recruit
- Coordinate interviews, subject tests, demo classes, and assessments with Principals, Coordinators, and Department Heads
- Support pan-India recruitment drives (online and physical), including candidate coordination and logistics
- Assist in resume mining and sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn for senior or niche roles
2. Onboarding, Documentation & Employee Records

Prepare and manage HR documents including:
- Offer letters
- Appointment letters
- Service agreements, NDAs, safeguarding declarations

Coordinate joining formalities and induction schedules

Maintain complete and up-to-date employee files (digital and physical)

Support non-local employees during joining and initial relocation period
3. Payroll Preparation & Pay-bill Support
- Maintain biometric attendance, leave, late-coming, and LOP records
- Prepare monthly payroll input sheets as per approved salary structures
- Coordinate payroll data with the Accounts team
- Assist in full & final settlement calculations during separations
- Ensure payroll data accuracy and strict confidentiality
4. Attendance, Leave & HR Operations
- Monitor daily attendance and report deviations
- Maintain leave records and holiday calendars
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and service rules
- Report non-compliance or discrepancies to HR Manager
5. Statutory & Compliance Support

Maintain documentation related to:
- PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity
- POSH and POCSO compliance
- Child safeguarding norms

Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews

Ensure HR records are inspection-ready at all times
6. Employee Engagement & Grievance Support
- Coordinate HR engagement activities and staff initiatives
- Act as first-level HR contact for routine employee queries
- Escalate grievances, conflicts, or policy violations to HR Manager
- Maintain neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality
7. Performance & Separation Documentation

Assist in maintaining:
- Probation and confirmation records
- Performance review documentation

Support exit formalities, including resignation processing and documentation
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in H.R / Management
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant HR experience
- Hands-on exposure to recruitment operations and payroll preparation
- Experience in schools or educational institutions is an advantage.
