As a Dot Net Developer, you will design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core and Microsoft
Technologies. You will work closely with senior developers, QA and DevOps teams to deliver high quality, reliable and
maintainable code. You will be responsible for implementing features, fixing bugs and continuously improving your
technical skills
**Essential Functions /**Deliverables
Product Knowledge & Domain Familiarisation
- Understand core modules and third-party integrations.
- Maintain and update technical documentation as needed.
- Participate in sprint demos and team meetings.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX teams.
NET Application Development & Lifecycle Ownership
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
- Participate in estimation and sprint planning.
- Implement features and resolve bugs.
- Follow coding standards and best practices.
- Deliver assigned user stories independently or with guidance.
Debugging & Troubleshooting
- Identify, analyse, and resolve issues in the application stack.
- Use debugging tools (e.g., Visual Studio Diagnostics, log analysis) to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Performance Optimisation & Quality Assurance
- Participate in code reviews and refactor code as needed.
- Follow best practices to maintain code quality.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Help analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks.
CI/CD & Workflow Automation
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Azure DevOps,
GitHub Actions). - Automate build, test, and deployment processes where possible.
- Use monitoring and logging tools as directed.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with designers, product managers, QA, backend, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and bug triaging.
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack with support from senior team members.
Technical Documentation & Agile Participation
- Document technical solutions and dependencies.
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Prioritise tasks and track progress.
- Maintain release notes and change logs as needed.
Continuous Learning & Growth
- Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sessions.
- Participate in developer community and knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
**Certifications (Preferred) :**Not mandatory; Microsoft.NET certification is a plus
**Required Professional Experience :**2–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development with.NET
Technical/Computer Skills : C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, REST APIs, SQL, LINQ, Entity Framework, Git, debugging
**Professional competencies :**Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical degree Equivalent practical experience is acceptable
**Preferred work exposure :**Familiarity with Azure/AWS, frontend frameworks (Angular/React), HTML/CSS/JavaScript
